Transformative Practices for Global Development

George Mutalemwa | Egon Spiegel | Cheng Liu | Lester R. Kurtz

Political Science / Peace

This book shows that in our interconnected world, conflicts in one area have consequences that go beyond borders, and for the environment that sustains us. In two volumes it addresses more than 140 topics, which include: socio-economic issues, cultural and political development, conflict management, sustainable development, spirituality, history, gender, philosophy and the humanities. Gathering ideas from over 140 contributors from around Africa and the world, it offers a valuable resource for academic programme developers as well as peacebuilders and development professionals at institutions of higher learning, civil society organisations and state institutions, as well as the general public.
