This book presents the proceedings of the 12th Carpathian Logistics Congress (CLC), which took place from November 28-29, 2024 at AGH University of Krakow, Poland. The Logisticon CLC2024 conference focuses on research, innovation and strategy in the areas of Supply Chain Management (SCM) Strategy and Planning, Sustainable Logistics Processes, Advanced Logistics Technologies, AI-based Logistics Applications. The book includes key topics in the areas of logistics, distribution, transport and management, reflecting the dynamic changes and challenges facing modern supply chains.

Assoc. Prof. Jerzy Feliks is an employee of the Faculty of Management of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. His research interests focus on logistics, reliability and quality, as well as process and system analysis. Since 1996, it has been a co-organizer of cyclical Total Logistics Management conferences, which has been part of the Carpathian Logistics Congress CLC since 2011. He is the author or co-author of about 120 scientific publications.

Radim Lenort is a professor and the Head of the Department of Production, Logistics and Quality Management at Škoda Auto University in the Czech Republic. He has completed internships at universities in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Poland, Russia and Slovakia. His research focuses on industrial logistics and supply chain management. He is a logistics auditor and a member of the Chamber of Logistics Auditors, the Logistics Academy, the Czech Logistics Association, and the GNSS Centre of Excellence. He has been a researcher or joint researcher on more than 70 R&D projects. He is also an evaluator for the Czech National Accreditation Bureau and a member of the editorial boards of several foreign journals and the scientific boards of international conferences. He is the author or co-author of over 240 publications.

Professor Martin Straka is a Full Professor of Logistics and Director of the Institute of Logistics and Transport at the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice, Slovakia. His research focuses on logistics, simulation and modelling, distribution and production logistics, logistics system design, robotized workplaces, and the optimization of logistics systems. Since 2001, he has been a co-organizer of the Logistics and Transport conference series, which has formed part of the Carpathian Logistics Congress since 2011. He has been involved in numerous national and international research and development projects and cooperates with academic and professional partners in several countries. He is a certified logistics auditor, Chairman of the Logistics Guild, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Acta logistica, and a member of several scientific and editorial boards. He is the author or co-author of more than 230 scientific publications and is listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists.
