Harleen Kaur is Professor (Assistant) at the Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling, O.P. Jindal Global University, India. She is also a visiting scholar at Herbert Simon Research Institute, Tilburg University, The Netherlands. A scholar engaging in understanding identity formation and social structures, her work closely engages health, human rights, and intersectionality, with a sustained focus on transgender and LGBTQIA+ communities in South Asia and beyond. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University, where her research examined the lived experiences of Indian transgender persons through an intersectional lens.
