Batuhan Kocaoglu is a full professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at Istanbul Topkapi University, Türkiye. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and earned his associate professorship in Management Information Systems (MIS). With over 15 years of experience in the private sector, he has held roles as an operations specialist, production planning manager, ERP project manager, and consultant. His areas of expertise include ERP, MRP, barcode systems, production planning, S&OP/IBP, the SCOR model, digital transformation, IT auditing, and logistics information systems. He is an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and a certified TUBITAK TUSSIDE DDX Digital Transformation Consultant. His published works include Tek Tikla Sirket Yonetmek (Palme, 2021) and Logistics Information Systems (Springer, 2024).
Mehmet Tanyas is Head of the International Trade and Logistics Department at Maltepe University, Türkiye. He is the Founding Chair of the Logistics Association (LODER) in Türkiye. Prior to this role, he served as Head of International Logistics at Okan University, Türkiye. His research and consultancy focus on warehouse management, inventory management, disaster logistics, and broader logistics and supply chain management. He is also a member of the Transportation and Logistics Committee of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) and serves on the Executive Board of the Turkish Red Crescent Logistics Company.
