She received a master’s degree in Philosophy at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas of the Portuguese Catholic University, and a Ph.D. in Medicine from FMUL on \"MR Imaging of the Substantia Nigra in Parkinson's Disease.\" \u003cbr\u003eShe is an investigator and coordinator of the Pharmaco MRI Unit - Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics of FMUL.
