She has extensive experience from a career in the non-governmental sector, having worked with NGOs both in the United Kingdom and internationally.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAndrea Martinuzzi \u003c\/strong\u003eis Professor of child neurology and psychiatry at the University of Torino and chairs the WFNR special interest group for pediatrics. He inaugurated and Directed the Neurorehabilitation Department at the Medea Institute in Conegliano-Pieve di Soligo for over 25 years. He also chairs the health interventions reference group within the WHO network for the international classifications. As a neurologist and geneticist, he has been involved for many years in the development and characterization of cellular and animal models of HSP, as well as in the development and testing of efficient disease indicators and effective interventions for HSP, ataxias and related disorders.
