Carolyn Goh
Medical / Dermatology
Dermatology, and especially the field of hair and hair loss, is a rapidly changing field. There are new discoveries and innovations every day. This book will provide the latest updates on hair loss diagnosis and management for residents and practicing dermatologists. Uniquely, this book will include information about special populations, such as transgendered patients who may experience hair loss due to hormonal treatments. Newer treatment modalities will be discussed as well, such as platelet rich plasma therapy and microneedling.
Written and edited by leading experts in the field, this practical update is organized into distinct sections for ease of use. Photos of real patients undergoing the treatments discussed further illustrate the techniques highlighted in this text and provide an avenue for this text to be updated as hair loss diagnosis and management evolve.
