Pedro Miguel Gaspar is Professor of management at Prince Henry Portucalense University, Oporto, Portugal, and organizational behavior at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugal. His research is in the areas of cognitive health, human resource management and economics of aging.

José Machado is Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics, School of Engineering, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. His research interests include knowledge engineering, biomedical informatics, artificial intelligence, and data science. He is the author of over 360 papers in international books, journals and conference proceedings.

João Paulo Ramos Teixeira is Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal. His research interests are related to signal processing, signal modulation, and forecasting. He has also been working with artificial neural networks, speech signal processing, EEG signals for early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, ECG signal event detection, prediction of time series, and tourism demand. He is the author of 2 books and more than 230 scientific publications.

José A. M. Victor is Professor at the Maia Polytechnic Institute and Assistant Professor at the University of Maia, Portugal. 

Carlos Montenegro-Marín is Director of the GIRA research group at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (Bogota, Colombia). His research interests include object-oriented technology, language processors, modeling software with DSL and MDA. He has more than 100 publications in scholarly international peer-reviewed journals and more than 100 contributions at scientific events.
