He was awarded prestigious Endeavour Award (Govt. of Australia) to pursue his postdoctoral studies at Lowy Cancer Research Center, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Currently he is working as Associate Professor at Department of Biotechnology, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. He has authored more than 50 research articles in various reputed international journals and also published numerous book chapters. He also has handled various government funded project in India including, DBT, India, DST, India, ICMR, India. His research mainly focuses on understanding the epigenetic mechanisms involved in colorectal cancer development and progression.
