Writing a Medical Research Manuscript is a practical, step-by-step guide to publishing in peer-reviewed medical journals. Drawing on his experience as a funded clinical investigator, educator, and mentor who has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and trained more than 1,000 physicians and scientists, Dr. Zaorsky distills the manuscript process into a clear, efficient framework that helps researchers move from research idea to publication.
The book is organized into three core sections:
· Building the research project and assembling the right team
· Writing each component of the manuscript with clarity and precision
· Navigating journal submission, peer review, revision, and publication
Each chapter is concise and focused, with actionable checklists to streamline workflow and avoid common pitfalls. Whether tackling a first manuscript or refining an established publication practice, this book is an essential resource for medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, physicians, and scientists seeking to publish high-quality research efficiently and successfully.
