The first part brings together papers in the fields of social and community psychology, two areas in which Latin American psychologists have developed quite original contributions to research and practice. The second part is dedicated to articles showcasing research conducted with Latin American children and youth in the fields of educational, cognitive and developmental psychology. Finally, the third part highlights articles that present contributions of research in fields such as neuropsychology, clinical and health psychology to the improvement of mental and physical health care of the Latin American population. He holds a PhD in Basic and social psychology from Universidad Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and a Master’s degree in Socioeconomic planning from Universidad Santo Tomás, Colombia. He has been awarded the Iberoamerican Psychology award (2024) by the Federación Iberoamericana de Agrupaciones y Colegios de Psicología (FIAP). His main areas of research of interest are peace psychology, the voice and theories of the people and the media on social dynamics and conflicts, and scientific communication.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHernán Camilo Pulido-Martínez\u003c\/strong\u003e is a professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Cardiff University, UK, and a master’s degree in communication and culture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia. He has been awarded the Lifetime achievement award (2023) by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. His main areas of research are critical psychology, interrelations between psychology and work, psychologization of society, history and internationalization of psychology and social studies of psychology.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIrene Giovanni-Aguilar \u003c\/strong\u003eis a professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia.
