The work maps out the impact of mediated narratives on security, risk, terrorism, banditry and general society, relying on local, on-the-spot and ontological cultural experiences in Africa, especially Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and other parts of West Africa.

Abiodun Adeniyi is Professor and Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Baze University, Nigeria.
