He finished his research fellowship at Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA under supervision by Prof Richard A. Berger in 1999 and at Hand Center of Western New York, State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, USA under supervision by Prof Clayton A. Peimer. He published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers and more than 30 book chapters, especially about the wrist injury, such as TFCC injury. He is current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Wrist Surgery.
