He is also the Chair\/Head of the Departments of Sociology and Anthropology and Communication and Media Studies at the University. He is a National Research Consultant with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on Anti-Corruption and Migration (Trafficking-in-Persons (TIPS) and Smuggling-of-Migrants (SOMs)) in Nigeria. He is a Visiting Scholar at Harriet Tubman Institute, York University, Toronto, Canada.
