The chapters will be written by experts in the field of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, and they will be tasked with picking the most impactful and important clinical studies and trials in their areas of expertise. Each chapter will contain entries of studies and trials (no more than 50 studies per chapter). These will follow a templated two-page descriptive summary, including study\/trial title, ClinicalTrials.gov identifier, primary sponsor\/funding source, study population location, pictorial study scheme, study type and phase, study summary\/duration\/completion date, study results, significance, historical context, lingering questions and possible future research direction, and top study associated references.
