She is a recipient of the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) Educator of the Year Award. Amongst other publications, Thompson is editor of the \u003ci\u003eASID Professional Manual \u003c\/i\u003e(1992). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eNANCY H. BLOSSOM \u003c\/b\u003eis Professor Emeritus of Interior Design at Washington State University and served as director of the Interdisciplinary Design Institute and director of the Doctor of Design Program. She is a Fellow of the Interior Design Educators Council and served as the Council’s president and chairman of the board.
