Randall Curren is Professor and Chair of Philosophy and Professor of Education at the University of Rochester. He is the author of Aristotle on the Necessity of Public Education (2000) and other works in the philosophy of education, ethics, ancient Greek philosophy, political philosophy, and the philosophy of law.
