He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions TPWRD and TSG, and has been awarded various prestigious prizes from the academia and industry for his innovations and practical research projects.

Reza Bekhradian, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the School of ECE, University of Tehran, Iran, who received his Ph.D. degree from the same School. His areas of expertise include the protection, stability, and control of modern microgrids and power systems including both synchronous- and inverter-based resources, complemented by valuable industrial experiences through collaboration with industry.
