In doing so, it positions food×fashion as a crucial mechanism for identity construction, social inclusion, and exclusion, and cultural meaning-making. She is a scholar of North American culture, society, and history. She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Museum at FIT and the University of Georgia, where she examined food and fashion as lenses for social inequality.
