Furthermore, the book brings attention to the impact of Soviet antiracism on the Soviet society, where it functioned both as a vehicle of ideological conditioning and, somewhat counterintuitively, of cultural and political subversion.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eMaxim Matusevich\u003c\/b\u003e is Professor of Global History at Seton Hall University, USA where he directs the Russian and East European Studies Program.
