Other work includes \u003ci\u003eThe Punishment Stories\u003c\/i\u003e, (shortlisted for the 2007 Verity Bargate Award), an adaptation of \u003ci\u003eSlawomir Mrozek's The Police (BAC\u003c\/i\u003e 2007), \u003ci\u003eThe Sugar-Coated Bullets of the Bourgeoisie\u003c\/i\u003e (2010) for the National Theatre Studio and \u003ci\u003eIf You Don't Let Us Dream Then We Won't Let You Sleep \u003c\/i\u003e(Royal  Court, 2013). Anders is a political activist, has taught on Death Row,  been arrested by the Turkish secret police, and holds a PhD in Chinese  politics from the University of California.
