His most recent publications include co-authoring The Red Cross’s \u003ci\u003eWorld Disaster Report 2014: Culture and Risk\u003c\/i\u003e\r\nand a companion coedited volume entitled \u003ci\u003eCultures\r\nand Disasters: Understanding Cultural Framings in Disaster Risk Reduction\u003c\/i\u003e\r\n(2015). \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eJoseph\r\nChristensen\u003c\/b\u003e\r\nis a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asia Research Centre, Murdoch University,\r\nAustralia, where he works in the fields of maritime and environmental history.\r\nHe obtained a BA and PhD from the University of Western Australia.
