Susan Ehrlich is Professor of Linguistics at York University, Toronto, Canada. Miriam Meyerhoff is Professor of Linguistics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She is co-editor of Social Lives in Language: Sociolinguistics and multilingual speech communities (with Naomi Nagy, 2008), Doing Sociolinguistics (with Erik Schleef and Laurel Mackenzie, 2015), Bequia Talk (with James A. Janet Holmes is Emeritus Professor in Linguistics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and Associate Director of the Wellington Language in the Workplace project.
