As a Renaissance specialist, he is author of numerous publications, including \u003ci\u003eA Short History of the Italian Renaissance \u003c\/i\u003e(2013), \u003ci\u003eThe Northern Renaissance and the Reformation\u003c\/i\u003e (with Margaret McGlynn, 2013), and\u003ci\u003e The Civilization of the Italian Renaissance \u003c\/i\u003e(revised edition, 2011).
