She earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Susman also serves as a manuscript reviewer for the Jo\u003ci\u003eurnal of Neurochemistry\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eJournal of Neurophysiology\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eJournal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eBrain Research, and Neuroscience\u003c\/i\u003e.
