He is the author of \u003ci\u003eHappiness\u003c\/i\u003e (2011) and the editor of \u003ci\u003eThe Routledge Handbook of the Welfare State\u003c\/i\u003e (2013) and \u003ci\u003eHappiness and Social Policy in Europe\u003c\/i\u003e (2010).\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eIan Greener\u003c\/b\u003e is Professor in the School of Applied Social Sciences at Durham University, UK, as well as being Director of the ESRC North-East Doctoral Training Centre there. His research interests include the use of evidence in policy, healthcare reorganization, and the means by which policymaking can become more evidence-driven.
