A rather fragmented image of this scholar was the  result. \u003cbr\u003e  This interdependent collection of essays describes the life and work  of Anna Maria van Schurman from an interdisciplinary - or  rather multidisciplinary - approach and will outline a more  integrated yet at the same time subtly differentiated picture.
